Bill: Budget proposal of July 2562

Details

Submitted by[?]: Alorian Public Union

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill proposes to change the allocation of funds in the budget. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 2563

Description[?]:

The Alorian Public Union propose to adjust the government's spending budget to better address the economic and social situation of the Democratic Republic of Aloria. If you look at the situation we'd face in a possible (though still avoidable) war in Luthori, we'd face immense opposisition. This doubles the defence spending to give us a better posisition in any sort of match up. Admittingly it puts us in a big deficit, but it would be temporary, and it may just be something we would need to do.

MessageHaving a strong and well trained defence system is one of our main topics of the New Liberal party, but we think it's kind of hypocrit for suchnamed pacifist parties to never do something about the military, and now when we facing a possible war, they suddenly raise the defence budget enormously!
Although we think defence is a very important issues on the budget, we don't think it must result into a 109 billion government spending. WAY OUT OF LINE!!!

MessageWe would support this if we went to war, or if war became inevitable. In our analysis, at this time it is not.
