| As an environmental disaster did happen in Telamon in 2559 As Minister Cafiero wishes to return to politics As dissension exists between parties over the issue As the validity of the Cafiero Affair is up to debate As the facts of the issue are not clear We hereby propose that the so-called Cafiero Affair be investigated and a report of the findings be shared with Parliament. We propose that the Conservative Ordo Malleus Party, as an unbiased entity in this situation, has no leanings on the issue and was not in Parliament at the time. We propose that the COM Party head up the investigation. We propose that Mr. Thorden Raxney, former Prime Minister of Telamon and current head of the COM Party, act as head investigator. We ask all who wish to know the truth behind the "Cafiero Affair" so that it can be handled and put behind us vote YES on this bill. |

| Message | OOC: This is just a bill to formalize an IC investigation of the situation so we can put it behind us for good. Since I wasn't here at the time I think I should be the one to investigate. Some may disagree but all should be able to agree that the character of Thorden Raxney is fair and objective. He has a long history of serving Telamon and working with all parties, regardless of their positions and policies, to help Telamon. Whatever the investigation finds will be shared with Parliament and its findings will advise Parliament how to act. Once action is taken that is the end of it. Nobody should then use the incident to mud sling, slander, or disparage (to name a few) any other party. How does this sound? If we're agreed then I'll move this bill to a vote. I thought the issue was behind everyone but it seems to keep popping up. It'd be nice to formally put it to rest for good. |
