Bill: Emergency Dovani Defense
Details

Voting deadline: September 2594
Description[?]:
We came across, by chance, a bill in the Algedarian legislature to claim a massive swath of Dovani land in the south. http://80.237.164.51/particracy/main/viewbill.php?billid=187015 More disturbing still is the map presented therein that colors Dovani as a land pockmarked by foreign claims. http://img72.imageshack.us/img72/457/presentation5qr6.jpg Hutori also has made claims: http://80.237.164.51/particracy/main/viewbill.php?billid=186033 Additionally, Kirlawa made claims to no particular region even predating the Dovani for the Dovanians treaty. http://80.237.164.51/particracy/main/viewbill.php?billid=118035 Any plans, or is this even a problem? |

Message | Our allies are aware of the situation. This constant threat against Sekowo has to stop at some point. |

Message | Should any invasion occur we must see this as an act of war. I suggest we use the threat of our Nuclear Deterrants to deter this foreign invaders. They make one false move against our region and we will fire back with all we have. |

Message | It is in our beliefs that we should respect Kirlawa's claims as they are quite old and represent a small area. However we should also be against them having any military presence there. As for the other claims we believe that should Hutori continue its claims that we, the nations of Dovani, should declare war on Hutori, while pointing out that we could care less whether Hutori is a Republic or a Monarchy. |

Message | Hutori is planning a Civil War (at least one party wants one). We could either attack them while they are weak or just let them kill themselves off. http://80.237.164.51/particracy/main/viewbill.php?billid=186484 |

Message | OOC: Which? Taking back Dovani lands when they are weak or watching them kill each other? I think both could be argued as extreme. =D |

Message | We (Hutori) claim the large region to the west of protected territory, and not the stuff in pink. |

Random quote: "No one today can afford to be innocent, or indulge himself in ignorance of contemporary governments, politics and social orders. The national polities of the modern world maintain their existence by deliberately fostered craving and fear: monstrous protection rackets. The 'free world' has become economically dependent on a fantastic system of stimulation of greed which cannot be fulfilled, sexual desire which cannot be satiated and hatred which has no outlet except against oneself, the persons one is supposed to love, or the revolutionary aspirations of pitiful, poverty-stricken marginal societies like Cuba or Vietnam. The conditions of the Cold War have turned all modern societies - communist included - into vicious distorters of man's true potential." - Gary Snyder |
