Bill: Support Republicans in 2nd Hutori Civil War

Details

Submitted by[?]: Conservative Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 2566

Description[?]:

After some debate, there was a majority vocal consensus to support the republicans militarily in their civil war against the monarchists. Republicans promise that upon their victory in the 2nd Hutori Civil War, they will stop claiming Dovani land.

Upon passing of this bill, the Declaration of War on Hutori (http://80.237.164.51/particracy/main/viewbill.php?billid=187160) will transition, with immediate effect, to a Declaration of War on the Union of Greater Kenai, the monarchists of Hutori.

Below were the 6 options:

1) neutral
2) provide humanitarian relief only

--> CHOSEN: 3) support republicans military <----

4) support royalists military
5) state of war with Hutori (current stance)
6) other, please specify

----------

Hutori is currently divided into two sub-nations through this war.

The republican sub-nation is called "Confederation of Falristan, Roccato and Lagard". This is formed by the Hutori political parties: People's Revolutionary Communist Party, Future Generation Green Party and Viktor Schmller Collective. These parties were against the invasion of Sekowan territory from the start.

The royalist sub-nation is called the "Union of Greater Kenai". This is formed by the Conservative Union Party and its allies.

MessageWell, it's a majority already. AUP, as incoming Minister of Foreign Affairs (OOC: replacing in-active FDP), you may as well notify Hutori and our Dovani allies of the situation and the support we are giving to the republicans in exchange for them removing their claim on Dovani soil.

ToDebating the Support Republicans in 2nd Hutori Civil War
MessageThe Hutori Conservative Council is deeply saddened and dissapointed to be informed that Sekowo has decided to support, and possibly sponsor the communist, republican rebellion movement in Hutori.
By doing so, Sekowo would be supporting a militant, violent, terroristic minority group - the current government is almost entirely monarchist without dissent, and the people of Hutori are likewise. The push for a republic comes from the far-left, militant, communist minorities of our nation, whom we are currently trying to contain and eliminate. We would like to inform Sekowo that, by supporting this rebellion, they will essentially be sponsoring terrorist, far-left, radical, revolutionary communism and anarchism.
We are in a heated domestic battle at the moment and we are making every effort to supress the communist, republican infestation; the vast, red plague that has begun to spread and take root in parts of our country like an epedemic. Communism is the single greatest threat to our country, and, hand in hand with the republican movement, poses an immediate threat to every virtue Hutori enjoys: our freedoms, our culture, our societal institutions, our religion, our economic prosperity, our moral values, our traditional heritage. The list goes on.
We do not want Hutori to be drowned in a sea of red, and we should certainly hope that Sekowo would not support this either, as they currently claim to.
Only a small minority of parties in our country support the republican movement, and none of them are in power. We strongly urge Sekowo to consider the implications of this. If Sekowo is truly interested in helping relations between Sekowo and Hutori, they would support the government and the king, rather than the communist, republican revolutionaries trying to destroy our country.
The position put forth by Sekowo in a recent statement made by the minister of foreign affairs is by no means helpful in regards to relations betwen Sekowo and Hutori. On the contrary, if Sekowo decides to continue their support of the republican extremists in Hutori, it will be severely damaging to our relations.
On behalf of the Hutori Conservative Council, the current government, and the King, I, Prime Minister Wesley Hamptonshire, would like to strongly advise against Sekowo's current initiatives in this respect - our government is willing to negotiate with Sekowo through diplomatic avenues, but if Sekowo provides support for the republican, communist terrorists and militants within our country, we will not be willing to consider a comprimise, and situations may turn more hostile, which we certainly do not want, and we are sure that Sekowo does not want either.
We hope that Sekowo's government changes its course of action at once, for the sake of Sekowo, for the sake of Hutori, and indeed, for the sake of relations between our two countries.
God save the King.

Thankyou,

Regards,
Wesley Hamptonshire (Prime Minister of Hutori and President of the Hutori Conservative Council)

MessageCould the HCC please clarify its definition of "small minority"?

According to the latest election results in your nation (http://80.237.164.51/particracy/main/viewbill.php?billid=187592):
Monarchists: 105 + 40 + 31 + 14 = 190 (63%)
Republicans (or Communists by Monarchists): 30 + 29 + 28 + 24 = 111 (37%)

Eradicating 37% of your population is not an easy task. It's not even a 2-to-1 ratio. And slowly, the other 63% of the population are going to get fed up with your genocide.

We hope that the HCC changes its course of action in favour of more peaceful undertakings in its own country, as opposed to killing off its citizens. To improve relations between our two nations, Hutori has to remove CUP from Dovani, recognize the Dovani protected region and never allow Hutori parties to colonize this region again.

You best pray for God to forgive your sins,

Peter Kurt Baumgartner
Tenno of Sekowo

MessageGenocide? We arrest communists, yes. We shoot them on sight, yes. But by declaring war on the legitimate government of Hutori (and of course the Royal Hutorian Colonies) they decided it would be fun to blow up monarchist citizens.

What we did in return was out of self defence.

Anyway, as we haven't ratified the 'Dovani for Dovanians' treaty, it is not our law. Meaning, we don't have to listen to you going on about how we can't colonise it. We can, it's not our law.

MessageWe never said we were erradicating 37% of our population! We are trying to destroy the armed, violent, communist rebels who are trying to destroy our nation from the inside!

Once again, we urge Sekowo to change their position - supporting the terrorist communist militant uprising will make relations between Sekowo and Hutori INFINITELY worse, and will void ANY possibility of a comprimise on the Dovani situation.

This is absolute madness.

MessageHutori Conservatives, it would be quite easy to prevent Sekowan intervention. Simply have your coalition swear to withdraw from Dovani and promise to prevent anyone from your nation return without express permission from the nations of Dovani. Then we will withdraw all support. Fairly simple, really.

As a neighbour of Hutori we are deeply concerned at the current crisis, but our Senado Federal is torn with indecision and opposition. Perhaps parties from Sekowo could enlighten us as to what brought about your support for the Republican side, particularly if those from the Conservative Party could describe how they saw through the propaganda of the so-called Conservatives in Hutori.

MessageActually, Hutori Conservative Unionists, you can not do whatever you like, treaty or not, particularly if you do not want the armed forces of Sekowo supporting your enemies. Diplomatic tact might serve you well in this matter.
