Message | Also the proposed flag design looks terrible. Black on a field of dark blue? Flags are supposed to easily viewable. |

Message | I assure you it is not "change for the sake of change", the current flag looks like something a child would put atop his fort in his living room, it does not due our great nation justice. This new flag is very easily viewable in my opinion. It does not hurt the eyes as much as the current one which reminds me of a tropical fruit punch drink and it lacks a unique quality. Whoever designed the last one should be ashamed of themselves. Signed Jairus Ingram Ingram Party Spokesman |

Message | Solentian National Policy regarding the desecration of the National flag: The national flag may not be desecrated or used for commercial purposes. I'd say that calling the national flag and symbol of our nation "a tropical fruit punch drink ", "something a child would put atop his fort in his living room" or "lacking a unique quality" constitutes as desecretion under the following definition. "Desecration is the act of depriving something of its sacred character -- or the disrespectful or contemptuous treatment of that which is held to be sacred by a group or individual" I am merely upholding the law in these chambers Mr.Ingram. Conservative Leader: Nabil Al-Aahil |
Date | 11:37:22, April 24, 2008 CET | From | National Zeus Party | To | Debating the Solentian Flag |
Message | You are a legislator Mr.Al-Aahil, it is not your job to enforce or uphold a law. It is your job to create and debate them. Thank You. Signed Jairus Ingram |
