Bill: Vaccination Act

Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 2567
Description[?]:
A bill to protect our children and our population from worst diseases which are curable. Noone should object the vaccination of his/her children, because an infected child is a huge risk to whole community. So, would we let to happen that a one child infects the whole city, when this disease could be _prevented_ by the vaccination? |

Message | This can have conflict with some religious organizations. We agree with the RDF about vaccinations for children. We are mostly a pro-choice party but this law is one of the few where we have to override choice with safety of our people as a whole. |

Message | Well, religious organisations shouldn't allow the case of epidemics . If there would be some religious organisations that preach that there is a righteous murder, would we let them murder people around? it's pretty much the same thing. RDF thinks that in this area you cannot choose "pro- choice" or similar rubbish. Hey, we are talking about public health issues here! |

Message | When im talking about religious organizations, im talking about health issues that may become in conflict with religions with strict health standards like how some religions may not accept blood transfusions. But we support the proposal. |

Message | Blood transfusion is something completely different. |
Date | 23:32:50, April 25, 2008 CET | From | Commonwealth Party | To | Debating the Vaccination Act |
Message | i know its different, im trying to say that this issue is similar to blood transfussions. Some people dont want blood transfussions for religious reasons, some people dont want forced vaccines into their childs body and that may have religous reasoning. |
Date | 12:26:41, April 26, 2008 CET | From | Rutanian Democratic Forum | To | Debating the Vaccination Act |
Message | But with blood transfusions you only hurt yourself. Without vaccination you can hurt hundreds, even thousands and more people. |
Date | 12:27:23, April 26, 2008 CET | From | Rutanian Democratic Forum | To | Debating the Vaccination Act |
Message | And, forgive us, but RDF cannot even think of any reason why are someone opposing this law. |

Random fact: Players who consent to a particular role-play by acknowledging it in their own role-play cannot then disown it or withdraw their consent from it. For example, if player A role-plays the assassination of player B's character, and player B then acknowledges the assassination in a news post, but then backtracks and insists the assassination did not happen, then he will be required under the rules to accept the validity of the assassination role-play. |
