Message | Freedom of peaceful assembly is important to the very function of our democracy. Until a person commits a crime, they should not be punished by being forced to move along. It would be completely morally wrong to imprison a person just because they may commit a crime, we have a presumption of innocence in this country. The current law is analogous to doing just that. |
