Bill: Withdrawl From Greater Hulstria Free Trade Agreement

Details

Submitted by[?]: Hutori Conservative Council

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill proposes the withdrawal from a treaty. It will require half of the legislature to vote in favor[?]. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 2566

Description[?]:

The Hutori Conservative Council is deeply suspicious of any internationally binding free trade agreements that limit Hutori's ability to actively protect its job markets, and give our industries a fair chance at competition abroad.
Tarrifs are sometimes necessary to ensure that the people of Hutori's jobs are protected from foreign countries whose labour is far cheaper than our own. They are also sometimes necessary to ensure that Hutori's industries are not dominated in competition by foreign predator firms who can provide far cheaper prices on their products.

Hutori must always, always come first.
