Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 2567
Description[?]:
With war still so close, I believe it would give people more comfort to know that they will not have to face war anytime soon. It's not like it's set in stone but you would get more out of people. They don't exactly what to do military service without choice. What type of freedom is that? |

Message | We are still at war, so I dont approve of this at the current time but will support it after the war has ended. Anyways 92% of our army consits of volunteers, and the rest is 200.000 people who where drafted, and there is currently 203 million people currently not serving in our armed forces, and whom we with the current status of the war has no need to call into duty. |

Message | How will a bill ending the draft not end the draft? |
Date | 05:54:33, April 26, 2008 CET | From | The Liberal Party | To | Debating the No mandatory during wartime |
Message | This bill does not say it will end the draft. If we have an emergency, a war, for example and we need a draft we can have a draft. |

Message | And like LLP said, those already drafted will remain in the military. I don't see the point of changing this bill. |

Message | I agree that those drafted will remain in the military, but the LP has no authority to draft additional Lodamese at this time. The URP is quite willing to negotiate on this matter but dismisses the toothless threats made by the Liberals. The PFP has made its intentions clear and the President or Defense Minister cannot violate the law. |

Message | Those in the draft will stay in the draft. After 2567, those who don't not wish to serve after completing school don not have to. Do not disregard the law, |
