Bill: JPC - Reduction Bill
Details
Submitted by[?]: Judiciary Patriciate Coalition
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: December 2567
Description[?]:
In light of the recent influx of over two pages of bills in under a year the JPC feels certain that such an overflow of bills damages the process of the legislature as each party has less time to consider each bill in detail, and parties who have concerns other then in the chamber (OOC: Have busy lives at the time) may be left behind. |

Message | This bill slightly reduces the bills per year, to reduce rate slightly, but more importantly halves the accumulated bills, so that parties cannot suddenly flood us with bills every four years. |
Date | 00:27:45, April 26, 2008 CET | From | Kafuri Socialist Party | To | Debating the JPC - Reduction Bill |
Message | Which of us haven't memorized which bill positions we support? It shouldn't take any time to decide what your position on a bill. |

Message | CPK will always endorse bill quota reductions (and election term lengthenings) to slow down wild events within our nation. |

Message | Slowing the game down will make it not worth playing. |
Date | 01:06:36, April 26, 2008 CET | From | Judiciary Patriciate Coalition | To | Debating the JPC - Reduction Bill |
Message | KSP: This is partially an RP bill, the amount of bills presently at the vote would be impossible even for a stable government to handle, let alone out own. |
Date | 10:47:51, April 26, 2008 CET | From | Liberal Urban Party | To | Debating the JPC - Reduction Bill |
Message | You all fail to realize the fact that Particracy is not only voting. Both the KSP and I support a 'fast game' because we know that fact. You see, we have been perpetually debating over bills, to find ourselves doing that once more, and again and again...So, it's quite pointless. Voting quickly and getting on with external and internal RPing is much more realistic. |
Date | 12:23:02, April 26, 2008 CET | From | Aldurian Protectorate Party | To | Debating the JPC - Reduction Bill |
Message | JPC: a new government is about to be formed, and the left is having to rebuild after being effectively destroyed. Thus we feel that the current number of proposals, whilst excessive, is also right, as politics has changed in Kafuristan, quite massively. |
Date | 12:37:52, April 26, 2008 CET | From | Aldurian Protectorate Party | To | Debating the JPC - Reduction Bill |
Message | Although we accept there should be some reductions and are happy to support this bill. |
Date | 12:52:59, April 26, 2008 CET | From | Liberal Urban Party | To | Debating the JPC - Reduction Bill |
Message | The left has not been destroyed; it still happily remains with us today, enlightening our days. |
Date | 13:44:21, April 26, 2008 CET | From | Aldurian Protectorate Party | To | Debating the JPC - Reduction Bill |
Message | It has no power, little hope of government and cannot hope to pass legislation by itself, it is ineffective for the next two years. |
Date | 14:01:03, April 26, 2008 CET | From | Communist Party of Kafuristan | To | Debating the JPC - Reduction Bill |
Message | As enjoyable as elections are, the interruption it has on the voting process of running bills is something we wish to encounter as little as possible. It feels only safe to propose bills immediately after noticing that elections have only taken place. |
Date | 14:15:44, April 26, 2008 CET | From | Liberal Urban Party | To | Debating the JPC - Reduction Bill |
Message | Interrupting the voting process? That's absolutely impossible and the right of parties to propose as many bills as they like should be held dear. |
Date | 17:50:00, April 26, 2008 CET | From | Liberal Urban Party | To | Debating the JPC - Reduction Bill |
Message | CPK, 24 months, which is the lowest number, is still not enough to interrupt a voting procedure, which is properly organized. |
