Details
Submitted by[?]: Democractic Socialist Party of Lodamun
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: August 2120
Description[?]:
Open to suggestions from any party, but first, I'd like to propose that: 1. All laws must be subject to at least 8 months of debate (not including cabinets or early election proposals). Counting from the first debate posted. each party can rush one bill per election cycle. 2. All bills left in debate for more than 10 years should be moved to a vote or deleted. |

Message | we're OK with how things are now, people seem to treat parliamentary procedure with reasonable respect on the honour system and bill quotas are regulated by law. A no-overturn clause can be included in individual bills. but if you want rules, please add: 3. All bills left in debate for more than 1o years should be moved to a vote or deleted. |

Message | I support this, with a few minor changes. Remove article 1, the way to keep visibility is to propose and vote on laws, also how do you determine recalled? If I proposed local parks, you changed it to national parks, then I propose to do away with all of them, is that a recall? 2) Allow each party to rush one bill per election cycle(this takes care of the importance factor). Also note that cabinets and early elections are not affected. |

Message | Also, lets reduce the number of proposals handed out per year. 20 is really too high, I just proposed 12, and 6 months later, I have 10. |

Message | We remain opposed to all and any restrictions on the business of the Citizens' Assembly. Every control imposed on properly-elected representatives is a reduction in the free and open access to the legislative process which is the right of the people who built and who continue to support this democracy. We are here to represent the views of the voters, not to rule over them. |

Message | "Also, lets reduce the number of proposals handed out per year. 20 is really too high, I just proposed 12, and 6 months later, I have 10." I'm not sure exactly how to do that in the official, game-recognized way. |

Message | to repeat: "we're OK with how things are now." the deleting old bills part is really a request to you to move on some of the old bills you have up there, DSP. Move 'em to a vote, or delete 'em. |
