| Message | The minimum wage prevents the exploitation of workers, it also has many psychological benefits which we believe are definitely worth something, it can spur economic growth too. The unemployment which the minimum wage creates generally only affects a VERY small amount of the population of any nation, as few are ever employed at that level anyway. Our main concern about abolishing the minimum wage is that unemployment benefit would too have to be abolished, something we feel very strongly against. We believe in a very basic minimum wage such as that being proposed, so we support. |
