Message | "Corporate common sense is an elimination of the corporate tax, as I have proposed. The corporate tax makes it tougher for small businesses to survive, and therefore kills competition and ruins the economy. If we tax anywhere, it should be a national property tax (OOC: that we unfortunately can't have). If we cannot have a national property tax, we can have a national consumption tax - and we have that, and it pays rather well actually, and we have no needs for anymore funds. WHAT IS THE POINT OF TAXING IF THERE IS NO INTENTION TO USE FUNDS? Regulation by taxation is unethical and is the wrong way to think about the economy or taxation. Especially if the intent of the regulation is to kill competition, which is precisely what is happening, or to condemn and discourage becoming wealthy." -Raamiah Galgenstrick, Chairman of the GJA Foreign Minister of the SJHB |
