Details

Submitted by[?]: Moderate Libertarian Party (NoCoalition)

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 2568

Description[?]:

Whereas, 20-year-old Pfc. Jason Seinko of the Gavonshire Province was one of 148 released names (thus far) of Alorian troops killed while stationed in Luthori;

Whereas his family has asked the parliament to pass a resolution in his honor;

Whereas his family has also asked the parliament to pass a resolution calling for an end to wars NOT based on the direct and proveable and credible threat to Alorian sovereignty;

And whereas they have asked that in the name and memory of their fallen son, that NO Alorian soldier be subjected to war conditions without a parliamentary declaration of war;

And whereas NO president may ever send troops to war without said declaration of parliament again;

And, finally, whereas their son fell in a conflict where the nation's leadership ignored the will and want of the people regarding troops being sent into Luthori for nearly a decade and may it never occur as such again;

The parliament of Aloria do this day formally pass the symbolic and memorial "Pfc. Jason Seinko Peace Resolution of 2568".

MessageOnly a decade? Now whose trying to revise history ! We were there in one way or another (arms, spy network, troops) for long that a couple years. Check the year we began the Luthori debacle and when it "ended".

MessageIt was not a decade. We sent DRACO there in 2562 (half of what you said ago) and we sent Luthori Advisors in 2564 (3 years) and we sent there large ground force not till less then a year out. I am not trying to "rewrite" history, your the one saying we were there for about as twice as long as we were.
