Message | This bill aims to ban the use of religious imagery in public services such as law, hospitals etc. Quite frankly why should people swear on a bible in court? this simply elevates religions importance in a nation, why should our judicial system base it's workings on something that there is no proof of? Most people in Dorvik hold no religion so what does swearing on a bible do for these people, give them an excuse to lie?? Why should a cross hang over the judges seat in Dorvik, these criminals are not being tried by God they are being tried by the people of our nation who support our legal system, Religion has no place in the courtroom. I believe the same goes for hospitals; placing religious imagery of one religion here and not others is offensive, misrepresentative and ignorance. However the choice to place all religions symbols at public places is impractical, near impossible and offensive to the people who hold no religion. We cannot condone the institutionalization of something that has no evidence to back it up. Ban all religious imagery in Public places and in Public Services, People have a right to worship and believe but this view cannot be adopted by a truly representative government. |

Message | This is exactly the type of liberal anti-religous sentiment that is taking over Dorvik. This country has had religion longer than its had the Centrist Coalition Party, I wouldnt be surprised if the people of this nation turn against you for this bill. We still have a religious majority in this country and I think you are alienating them. |

Message | The NLF is correct about the statistics: a small majority of the people describes themselves as religious (check the region stats for proof). On the other hand, I am for separation of church and state. |

Message | The Dorvik Libertarian party has many religious members, however we agree that it is important to prevent the government from prohibiting or promoting any religious views. |
