Bill: Intervention in the Hutori civil war
Details
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 2569
Description[?]:
On passage this bill will deploy 500,000 professional Trigunian troops to the Conservative side of the hutori civil war; on the condition that they grant us a small amount of land for us to station troops. This will be there in order to allow our rapid reaction to future events in Hutori and its neighbouring nations. A legitimate government of Hutori is being challenged by Communist rebels. That is why we suggest intervention on the Hutori side. |

Message | "Greetings friends, I am Wesley Hamptonshire, the Prime Minister of Hutori and the president of the Hutori Conservative Council. I am absolutely delighted to be informed of your support and military sponsorship of our great struggle. As you may well know by now, our once proud nation is under attack from communist, republican revolutionaries and terrorists, who endeavour to destroy our culture, our traditions, our values, our religion, our system of government - indeed, every cultural and moral expression and institution that the citizens of Hutori enjoy. The problem of communism is now rampant in our country - legions of far-left, communist cockroaches, who have shown their disdain for democracy, and their constant willingness to resort to terrorism and violence in order to achieve their corrupt ends, have infected our great nation with their cancerous plague, and they are gradually drowning our country in a sea of red. In an attempt to cull the increasing communist revolution in our country, and to protect our citizens, our King, our establishments and indeed, every virtuous aspect of our society, my party has instituted a number of measures, considered 'extreme' by many, in eliminating the epedemic of communsim and preventing its spread through our country. And indeed, the combined armies of the Monarchist alliance are strong and vast, and we have managed to maintain the communists so far, at least to some degree. But as I'm sure you appreciate, we can only do so much with our armies, and we can only last so long - these communist villains have a coercive power to brainwash their unsuspecting subjects, capitalizing on the weak for their recruitment, and they are recruiting more and more lost souls to their wicked cause as we speak. Furthermore, and perhaps more distressingly, the communists' web extends far beyond our nation's borders - several nations have pledged their support to the communist rebels, including Sekowo, and some have indicated that they may soon send troops to our country in support of these terrorists, and supply them with weapons and resources - essentially, this constitutes state-sponsored terrorism. These countries have wrecklessy supported a revolution against the legitimate government of Hutori and they have, therefore, ended any possibility of good relations with our country in future. In this, we are extremely dissapointed and angry. It is a breath of fresh air, then, that there still exists enough common sense in other countries to stand in support of our legitimate government and the people. As I mentioned before, I applaud your country, I applaud this motion, and I commend all of the major parties who support it. On behalf of my party, our government, and most of all, on behalf of His Majesty the King, I welcome your armies to Hutori with open arms. We will allow you to establish military bases within the areas of Hutori still claimed by our monarchy, and we will be more than happy to provide you with any extra weapons or resources your armies may require, or assist in anyway possible. I hereby give our formal support to this motion and I welcome you to Hutori. Kind regards," - Wesley Hamptonshire (Prime Minister of Hutori, President of Hutori Conservative Council) |
