Message | Well setting the school on fire is not so much a matter of school discipline as of state legality. The kid doesnt get punished by the institution but by the kingdom's police. Secondly we are not eliminating parental authority. Parental authority and aprovation is especially strong in elementary school years. Third the presence of disruptive behaviour leads to the creation of smaller classes. Such classes will be more viewed as communal rather thas as functional or regimental. A closer relation between the teacher and the students will be created, the greek paideia, and whoever disrupts the union of the community will be dealt by the community itself instead of an outside force as it was before. As it should be obvious by now are proposal doesn't bring for an absence of power (such it would be impossible no matter what) but from a dissemination of it, a distribution in a much more democratic sense. Thus we will vote against. |
