Bill: Inclusive Cabinet Proposal of August 2112

Details

Submitted by[?]: Tuesday Is Coming

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 2114

Description[?]:

A few things should be noted

This cabinet is designed to follow the capitalist tradition of 4, 4, 3, where 3 of the ministries are given to each party, with the Head of State and Head of government positions also going to each of the larger parties.
However, Tuesday is Coming has decided for this bill, to forgo our spot as 2nd largest party, and give the Head of Government seat to the CA(instead of giving them a minor position). Our other postions, of the departments/ministries, are given to the DSP, PCL, and GA.

Foreign affairs is given to the PCL due to their preference for it and competence in the past((though timezones are sometimes a bother))
Internal affairs is given to the Green Action, as this would be the ministry responsible for Native Lodamun tribes. This position should enable them to secure indigenous rights, thier stated goal at present.
Infrastructure is given to the Democratic Socialists, as government involvement in the infrastructure of a country is generally a socialist concept. The DSP has voiced its preference for Defense in the past, but they are simply too pacifist for us to, in good conscience, allow them the responsibility of defending the country.

Suggestions are welcome, any party included may opt out, etc.
Even if another cabinet is passed, I would like for this one to be voted upon, for the record.

MessageTuesday Is Coming does not feel that we possess the right to give away positions other than our own. As such, we have given away 3 of our 4 seats that the capitalist tradition would grant us. Those seats have been given to our three most compatible parties, by voting percentage and preference:

(( However, I won't have much time to RP anything from the head of gov't, so you may want to take that into consideration. ))

MessageI would have liked Foreign Affairs but personally I am tired of waiting for a Cabinet and this one seems fair and sensible in comparison to most on offer.

MessageRCP and the PCL can take turns on foreign affairs, if that's ok with them...

They have indicated a preference for it for a long time.

Random fact: The influence a bill has on elections decreases over time, until it eventually is no longer relevant. This can explain shifts in your party's position to the electorate and your visibility.

Random quote: As for rape, of course, that is a direct consequence of the capitalist system of oppression. Capitalism relies on fuelling division and resentment to sustain itself, and so it sets men against women, race against race and so on. Men rape women because they are being oppressed by capitalism, so they take it out on women. Under Communism, there will be no rape, because there will be a full and natural harmony and equality between the genders. ~ Friedrich Pfeiffer General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party
