Bill: Capital City Movement
Details
Submitted by[?]: Kafuri Socialist Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: August 2569
Description[?]:
Reasoning: Historically, Keletia is a far more stable emirate than any of the others. Located near the coast and our nations farmland. Placing our capital in Keletia would help weaken Deltarian claims that they own Keletia. Pabeustine is a dirty, half-destroyed city in a desert. It was our capital city once before. |

Message | Your reasoning is good and keeps me from voting against, but our history is preventing us from showing enough enthusiasm to vote for the change. We were, after all, the party to found Pabeustine and name it as capital. What will become of Pabeustine? Will it, then, be forgotten in the desert just as the glorious Seville-Ninel has been? The epicenter of our nation has some significance to Kafuri culture, does it not? Wouldn't southwestern Hiamou feel isolated from the centre of Kafuri affairs? |

Message | Solentia's tourist campaign in the forums and its small reference to our current capitol is actually really amusing. |

Message | I've never seen anything where Deltaria dropped the claims (or I've forgotten it). Tourist campaign? |
