Bill: NLP Strike Regulation Bill
Details
Submitted by[?]: National Literalist Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 2570
Description[?]:
Article 1- In the case of the attempted firing of workers who have gone on strike we feel the current law is not adequate because what an employer would see as a valid reason for go on strike may differ from what the workers union might see as a valid reason. Therefore we feel the government approval would be the best option in those situations, because of their unbiased position. Article 2- A majority of all members of the union should have to be reached before a strike can be approved. If certain factions of a union want a strike they could hold a vote at a time when a majority of members could not vote and the current law would not allow the true intentions of the entire union to be acted upon. |
