Bill: Withdraw from the 'Telamon-Likatonia Non Aggression Pact'

Details

Submitted by[?]: Rightful Radical Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes the withdrawal from a treaty. It will require half of the legislature to vote in favor[?]. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: November 2569

Description[?]:

In my foreign visitations to Davostan, Hutori, Endralon and Lodamun, ratification of this treaty is seen like an alliance with Likatonia which continiously denies signing a peace treaty with Lodamun and which has the intentions to make a Greater Likatonia on the soil of the visited countries and some south countries. We once heard from them that they do not want our dear Makon. Even if we believe this, note that we are the only country to which Likatonia promised that they have no intentions of stealing the land occupied on the planing of their 'Greater Likatonia'. So that plan is still on the table. We must not let the world see that we are making an alliance with Likatonia. In their newspaper you can constantly see articles having the name like 'Likatonia and Telamon holding the best strategic positions north of the equator' or like 'Likatonia looking forward to Telamon's G87s'. We have an unmistakable forming of an alliance. We can sign a friendship treaty with Likatonia, but this freely named 'Pact' bounded us with the most terroristic country currently in existence. Please, don't let the world see us in the same way.

MessageGiven that Likatonia has not even ratified this non-agression pact, we see it as pointless to bind our country to it.

MessageHas any effort been made to make Likatonia aware, again, of this pact and that we have ratified it? I see this bill as nothing more than posturing on behalf of the RRP.

MessageMr Raxney, my party has great respect to you, but all see that this bill is contra-productive and that it can't be efficient.

MessageNow that the MCSI is in effect we agree that there is no longer a need for singular treaties between Telamon and other nations, on a one by one basis, announcing our friendship with those nations. That is why we agree with Parliament's decision to withdraw from the TLNAP. The MCSI replaces all treaties such as the TLNAP and TLFT.

We are glad to see that Parliament is in agreement on this issue.
