Message | Why should people pay for a national service that they may not use, surely it should be private everywhere so that people pay if they want to use it and it will add a business approach to transport where businesses improve the quality of transport to gain more customers, so customers win as they pay a small fee for transport and get a good quality mode of transport much better than paying taxes and traveling for free when they can have lower taxes and a better value for money with transport. Date | 17:30:03, April 30, 2008 CET | From | Meritocratic Alliance | To | Debating the Transport Bill |
Message | We need the train networks to be nationalized. The trains must run on time. Leaving them up to private ownership will create a hodge podge of railways which will be unhelpful for defensive purposes. |
