MessageTaxing proffits made by corporations discourages people from investing in those corporations. Where are the dividends? Our investors will instead look to foreign markets and our own corporations will shrivel and die. At the same time, a tax on luxury goods does no one any harm. In our own bill currently active at this time we propose an increase to luxury goods while eliminating taxation on essentials entirely.

If the CMP is to be the party of landed gentry, so be it, but you will wreck our economy at the expense of a few yachts.

MessageI must confess I read the taxation as going from 2 to 11 on corporate taxes. I apologize and our parties vote will reflect that.
