Bill: Abolition of National Service Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Jewish Mothers' Union
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 2571
Description[?]:
Beitenyu's military needs require a professionalised, full-time army rather than a crew of 18 or 19-year old conscripts with an "I'm out in 18 months" attitude. The existing law hinders the educational and career aspirations of our young people. Conscription should only be used when circumstances really require it. Melanie Koffenbaum (Leader of the JMU) |

Message | "This is a disgraceful strike at weakening the integrity of the Homeland. If the JMU is dissatisfied with the state, we suggest that they move to L'olam. We would not stop them. Otherwise, the Jewish people will stick together." -Judy Gottlos, Head Archon of the ARM |
