| Ribadiamo la nostra ferrea posizione contro la pena capitale, riproponendo la stessa proposta con lo stesso discorso di pochi anni fa, e ci batteremo finché questa barbarie non verrà abolita. Il diritto alla vita è sacrosanto per ogni cittadino, e lo Stato non può definirsi legittimo quando vìola un diritto inalienabile di ogni essere umano. Neanche nelle condizioni più bieche può lo Stato permettersi di decidere per la vita o per la morte di uno dei suoi cittadini. Nelle motivazioni pratiche tra l'altro, la pena di morte non è affatto un deterrente per chi commette i crimini più gravi, e non è simbolo di giustizia per le vittime. Giustizia sta nella certezza della pena che non significa altro spargimento inutile di sangue. |
