Bill: Saiserist Decree of 2572: Repealing a Meaningless and Hand-Binding Treaty

Details

Submitted by[?]: Saiserist League

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes the withdrawal from a treaty. It will require half of the legislature to vote in favor[?]. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 2573

Description[?]:

This bill does not mean what it implies. It, in fact, forces the government of Zardugal into a very narrow band of choices. It, in fact, reinforces liberal ideas by promoting concepts such as the restriction of "hate speech". Repealing this needless treaty will simply give more freedom to the legislative body of Zardugal and avoid our government from being forced to follow a liberal agenda simply because the treaty that binds us has an enticing title.
It also forces us into the liberal ideas of perpetually allowing sexual content on the television, in front of our children. That, we find, this banning us explicitly from discouraging sexual actions on television within reasonable limits, does not entail much "freedom.
