Message | Thus you want thousands of people to have no representation in this senate for a year? How logical. |

Message | I beg your pardon? How DARE you drag my honourable and respected party into the inner bickerings of yourself and the PP. I think you shall find numerous occasions where the CMP and the PP have voted in separate directions. On Foreign Affairs for example, we have rarely agreed. I suggest you stop making enemies Mr.Smith, especially where grudges are not at this moment held. Li Liu Sa, CMP Chairman. |

Message | In defense of the CMP, which typically needs no defenders, it has always called its own tune and went by its own objectives. If the People Party chose to follow along with no direction of its own, there is nothing they can do about it. |

Message | The CMP and I often agree especially on foreign affairs, it is true to say that we agree on some issues and are closely related as two right wing parties, but neither of us fully and totally agree with the other and are not afraid to say so. Unlike the independents party who goes along with the FIP and along with the SNRP and CSPS who suck up to the FIP just to remain in their cabinet seats. As for the SNRP saying I have no direction I have only a few words to say to that- SNRP's position on the tax levels, up, down, left, right, centre (they don't have a position the little flip flop uturners so that is rich!!!) |

Message | I personally think that this debate has turned more into a slagging match between the PP abnd the other parties and as CMP Leader, I see it as my job to distance my party from such arguments. As far as two right wing parties go, of course the PP abnd the CMP agree often, however there are key differences and I think that the electorate recongise this. I thank the right honourable gentlemen in the SRNP for their defence in this issue and I cannot say that I fully agree with the PP that the other parties DO simply follow one another, having witnessed various occasions where they, like ourselves, split. I just want to add one more thing, and that is that now is the time for change. The old alliances of PP-CMP vs. SRNP-FIP are gone. Now is the time to break down the walls and start to actually tackle policy because this country has been lacking true and pure debate on policy for too long and I would like to see a return to those ideas of questioning the government and making sure that all views are expressed in an honourable manner. Harrison Knights- CMP leader. |

Message | SRNP and FIP are still in full alliance and we have no plans whatsoever to break what has been, for both parties, a fellowship most productive. This has not forced either party to accept positions contrary to the beliefs of the other. |
Date | 18:28:30, May 09, 2008 CET | From | Coalition for National Unity [CNU] | To | Debating the Call for early elections, April 2573 |
Message | That may be however I am sure my right honourable friend is able to see that now is not the time for two large alliances against each other, but for each party to say clearly, what they believe and to defend their policies. Harrison Knights- CMP leader. |
Date | 18:38:01, May 09, 2008 CET | From | Meritocratic Alliance | To | Debating the Call for early elections, April 2573 |
Message | Certainly. I believe most parties are in agreement with that. Senate Warden Harold Belisarius |

Message | I would like to apologize for the comment made to the CMP. It was irrational and said in a burst of anger. However, I do not feel as though the line of 'how dare you' was appropriate. I am a Senator for the Federal Republic of Solentia, not a schoolboy who stole a carton of milk. ~ Smith |
