Bill: Hutori War Bill
Details
Submitted by[?]: Imperial Pluralism Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 2575
Description[?]:
In our capacity as Foreign Minister, we have been in contact with the Republican forces in Hutori during the course of their civil war. The leading republican party, the PRCP, requested aid several times, but we explained that Sekowan military support hinged on confederate electoral success. And now, at last, the confederates have a slim majority in the Hutori legislature. Regardless of our uncertainty on this issue previously, we feel that it is time for Sekowo to whole heartedly support the confederate cause. The DSP has deployed party militia in the region, and we hope that they will be able to support us. Should this bill pass, the ministry of Defense will deploy 300,000 soldiers to Hutori to support the Confederate cause. |

Message | You're just really intent on war, aren't you? What proof have you that duplomatic means have been exhausted? |

Message | It's strategic and future thinking. In essence, war in the short term, and peace in the long term. If we become active, and are a major player int the Hutori war, once it's over we will be more known, and other nations will think twice before trying to invade Dovani again. Further more, we have a guarantee form the Confederate parties that once they win Hutori will cease claiming any of Dovani and will not do so again. Now, as for the conservative/Monarchist side, only one of their parties has said they will remove all their people if we support them, and it was they who invaded Dovani in the first place. Further more Sekowo will not go back on its word. |

Message | The settlers and natives in New Adelia and Vascania want to remain part of Hutori. We will make a deal. We will cease expansion into Southern Dovani, AND not exploit natural resources. In return, we ask that you do not support the confederates. |

Message | CUP, it would help if you got the other monarchists to pledge the same. |

Message | We will never alow a non-Dovanian nation to claim any part of Dovani or Vascania. If you do not remove them, we will. |

Message | How obvious it has become that they are willing to bribe your nation with any means necessary. They would sell you Hutori itself if they could, just so they wouldn't lose. |

Message | I'm sure the DSP would favour an acquisition of Hutori |
Date | 06:30:45, May 12, 2008 CET | From | 帝国公明党 (Teikoku Kōmeitō) | To | Debating the Hutori War Bill |
Message | Hutori is half-way around the world, we do not support any expansion into areas that; 1. Already have established nations. 2. Are outside of the Dovanian hemisphere unless under extreme circumstances, and even then only temporarily, or perhaps holding a small are to ensure peace or something. |

Message | The integrating of Dovani must be held intact. The 300,000 troops should FIRST be used to remove Hutori forces from our continent. |
Date | 01:19:13, May 13, 2008 CET | From | 帝国公明党 (Teikoku Kōmeitō) | To | Debating the Hutori War Bill |
Message | Our military has something like 700,000 active troops, we can always send another 300,000 to get rid of the illegal settlements. |

Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation. |
