Message | Article 3 makes no sense. A central bank is required to provide monetary policy over the economy as well as maintain the stability of the currency and money supply. To allow a private company control of such a thing would be foolhardy at best and would lead to the production of separate currencies being introduced by differing banks or the production of currency (or limitation of such) by individual banks in order to increase their market share at the risk of the economy as a whole. As for article 4, we do not see any requirement to reduce the number of gambling establishments operating within this Country. Moreover, we see that the limitations provided by this legislation would increase unemployment and be of harm to the economy as a whole. Article 2 would risk damaging the employee/employer relationship. Just as the employer is capable at present of increasing/reducing their workforce at liberty the employee must also be capable of being in a position to improve their conditions from employers who are not providing what they should. In regards this they have the ability to join recognised Unions and, should it be required, strike. To allow the employers to fire any employee who strike would damage this relationship and give power to employers only decreasing the job prospects and quality of our employment conditions as there would be nothing stopping employers firing staff for any reason. |

Message | For Article One: The idea that all private banks will just start creating different currencies is ludicrous. Under this proposal our government still sets the national currency by law, and it still owns the mints and national reserves. This is simply an article to take the government out of an area that it does not need to be in. Article Two: Reducing taxes on corporations will allow them to expand with greater speed and effectiveness, causing the increase of profits. Ultimately, what is good for corporations is good for Hobrazia as a whole as well. Article Three: This is not an article to allow employers to fire their employees for any reason. Keep in mind that there are costs to firing a worker, replacement and training costs will be a deterrent to the wholesale firing of all workers who strike, however, it allows business owners to make their own decisions without the interference of counter-productive labor laws. Article Four: This was the least important proposal in the bill, and due to the great opposition to it, we have struck it from the bill. |
