Message | Ladies and Gentlemen, As many of you may know, our legislation allows for the reckless use of biochemical weapons in conflict, and personally I say that this is unacceptable. It is simply not humane to gas or blister other human beings unless provoked, and that is why I am calling for a RESTRICTION on the use of biochemical weaponry unless it is used first against us. Why should we be the ones who do this first? We are not monsters, and I can reassure you, choking and vomiting yourself to death from a nerve gas attack is not a nice way to die. - NP defence spokesman, Col. Katya Saporova |

Message | While our military remains unfettered from meaningless rules and restrictions my fellow senators, we are safe from outside aggression. There are organizations who depend on using their combined will to force nations into agreements with them. Solentia stands alone against this threat. Only the threat of first stike on our behalf, this ominous spectre of mutually assured destruction, keeps them at bay. Rethink this, please. Senator Havery Girk, SRNP Speaker |

Message | While the NZP does not support the unwarrented use of biological weapons we can not agree with this legislation. We feel it cripples our defensive capabilities and effectively removes an important deterent to those who would seek to harm us.Under this law if we had valid intelligence that a nation planned on attacking us with chem. or bio. weapons we would have to WAIT for the attack to occur first before we could counter, which would cost hundreds of thousands if not millions of precious Solentian lives. Ladies and Gentlemen in a fight you do not wait to get punched in the mouth, you punch first. Simply having the option to strike first does not mean that we will, our leaders have shown great restraint in the past before resorting to physical confrontation, and they will continue to do so.
