Message | Why? WHO IS A THREAT TO US! WE'VE NEVER BEEN ATTACKED! Were a bigger threat to the world then any one other country is to us. |

Message | Not true on the second point. We have a modest army (which is fine, since your first point is correct). We are a relatively small country (only a few on Terra are smaller so far as population is concerned). In recent history, we have intervened abroad only once. |
Date | 23:56:46, May 12, 2008 CET | From | Free Democratic Party | To | Debating the Total Freedom Act of 2575 Part III |
Message | Having a large army and effective civil defence acts as a deterrent against attack. It is precisely because of the measures the MLP wishes to revoke that "we've never been attacked". |

Message | We are never been attacked, but never say never! Tomorrow, some foreign nation could invade our country, and what then?? We are a peaceful nation, but their is a chance that one day we could be under attack! And by the way, a civil defence system is not only for times of war, but can also be used in times of disasters! |

Random fact: The influence a bill has on elections decreases over time, until it eventually is no longer relevant. This can explain shifts in your party's position to the electorate and your visibility. |
