Bill: Free Government Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: National Anti-Communist Front

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 2576

Description[?]:

Our great collation of parties has worked hard to ensure the Malivian people are able to live securely and safely under a strong nation guided by capitalism. We have done much to fight the communist influence, yet communists still preach their dogmas of rebellion, hatred, and disloyalty to the people. Some misguided Malivians have taken their anarchist and leftest teaching to heart and intimate the public into accepting their views. The NMP believe that this should stop. We call for the disbandment of the following parties:

Malivan Liberal Democrats
Malivia Democratic Party

These parties act as fronts for socialist and anarchist groups.

MessageWe have yet to see any capitalist moves from the MLD, thus logic compels us to agree with the National Malivians.

We will support this resolution.

OOC: No offense to MLD (or MDP), the Right wing coalition typically attempts to paint our rivals as ultra-communists. Ts Malivian flavour. :)

Random fact: When you join the game, you will find yourself with only zero seats. That's because your party's representatives haven't been elected yet. You need to establish your party's position on issues by proposing several bills that your party wants passed and sending them to vote. This raises your visibility and if you do it enough, you will win seats at the next election.

Random quote: "Remember that government doesn't earn one single dollar it spends. In order for you to get money from the government, that money must first be taken from somebody else." - Governor Jesse Ventura
