Message | As there are seats unrepresented, the CMP supports. |
Date | 22:33:57, May 14, 2008 CET | From | Federal Independent Party | To | Debating the Call for early elections, May 2576 |
Message | There have been seats unrepresented for a while now due to the People Party's departure following the elections and there is little over one year's worth of time before the next election takes place. There is no need for early elections, the Supreme President should be able to serve out the entire term. FIP Speaker Calvin Jerrard |

Message | And so the F.I.P once again, turns back on policies they have followed by renouncing their usual policy of keeping representation at it's highest. |
Date | 04:19:03, May 15, 2008 CET | From | Meritocratic Alliance | To | Debating the Call for early elections, May 2576 |
Message | People Party planned to wreck the election by fleeing to Hutori as soon as the results were in. By voting "no" we are not giving in to their brand of destructive politics. |

Message | I think that the F.I.P seem to be confused as to what they do and don't support. Their polcies are not clear nor are they consistent. You don't support early elections, and yet you yourself have given two examples of when you have, tell me- does the F.I.P leadership actually have an opinion or do you simply do what you feel leike? Seems to me that the F.I.P are in a bit of a state. Perhaps they should retire? If political ideology is getting rather confusing for them, it might be wise. I don't think that the electorate quite need to be patronised by me showing them where you have u-turned and flip-flopped. I have faith in my electorate and as such they are perfectly capeable of seeing the joke that the F.I.P stances have become. Dorothea Roberts, Leader of the Opposition. |

Message | This is pathetic. We have supported early elections twice out of 19 times. The fact that the CMP ignored this and chose to focus upon the two actual legitimate calls we supported in comparison to the 17 we vetoed is sad. Unlike the CMP, we will not hide the facts and pick and choose what to present. We offer the whole truth, not the corrupt half-truth lies. It is very fitting for the party, however, and it does not come as a surprise to me. I see little joke in the Federal Independent Party's electoral history. We have been given support numerous times and have landed 16 candidates into the Supreme Presidential office, the national record. We have remained faithful to the people and have made this nation proud. We also have proven to be the most bi-partisan and negotiable party in the nation and have built many strong, respected coalitions throughout the years with parties that have the best in mind for this country. You may focus on those two times we did support the calls. It only proves my belief that the CMP has nothing serious to argue and offer in this legislature. FIP Speaker Calvin Jerrard |

Random quote: On 7th February 4281 a group of renowned Metzist experts from all across Terra met in Haldor to form the International Committee for the Estimation of the End Date of Capitalism (ICEEDC). With the assistance of a powerful computer, they calculated that capitalism will terminate Terra-wide on 6th November 4320, and in Dorvik on April 17th 4310. We have no reason whatsoever to believe these very eminent and learned scholars are wrong. They have never been wrong about anything before. ~ Friedrich Pfeiffer, General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party |
