The Liberal Party has just learned that a member of Parliament was involved in a bribery scheme. An investigation was not conducted as far as we know. We would like to know if an investigation was conducted and if it hasn't, it should begin now.

From | The Liberal Party | To | Debating the Investigation into bribery scheme | Message | No, he is not. But we just found out about it and we want an investigation on it. Parliament members who accept bribes are a disgrace to this country. |

From | The Liberal Party | To | Debating the Investigation into bribery scheme | Message | This is not joke URP. Please take this very seriously. Let's leave those kinds of comments aside for a while and work on finding out whose party Kurt Jones is from and if he received proper punishment for his actions. |

From | United Republics Party | To | Debating the Investigation into bribery scheme | Message | *** I don't think you understand - these stories crop up in the newspaper randomly. It's up to us to decide what party he's in if we're going to acknowledge it at all. For example, years ago an article appeared announcing Jonathan Roberts won the International Soccer Championship. I decided to make him a URP cabinet minister and now he serves as President of the NSCL. I think it makes sense for Jones to be an LP member especially since I recently questioned your decision to grant a huge no-bid contract. |

From | The Liberal Party | To | Debating the Investigation into bribery scheme | Message | I know they do but this time I don't want any controversy in my party. It seems I am always in the middle of everything. I was looking to blame someone else this time, it can't always be me. |

From | Lodamun Libertarian Party | To | Debating the Investigation into bribery scheme | Message | Well as far as the rp go you cant just create a new person for another party, and if you do the other party can ignore the person you create since its not one they created to speak for there party.
And it would also be official which party he belonged to, the members of the parliament are not kept secret. |

From | The Liberal Party | To | Debating the Investigation into bribery scheme | Message | I know I can't create for someone but I was hoping someone would be generous to take him, don't you think? I can simply delete this debate and leave it alone. |

From | United Republics Party | To | Debating the Investigation into bribery scheme | Message | Why did the LP even bring this up? As a way to bash another party? This charcter obviously fits the pattern of Liberal corruption. If the LP is unwilling to accept this, it should just drop the matter. |

From | The Liberal Party | To | Debating the Investigation into bribery scheme | Message | I am not going to take the blame this time. As you can see, I asked for a volunteer or I would drop this. I am going to drop it whenever I feel like it, got it? |

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context. |
