Bill: Withdrawal from the League of Nuclear Nations

Details

Submitted by[?]: Jewish Mothers' Union

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill proposes the withdrawal from a treaty. It will require half of the legislature to vote in favor[?]. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 2577

Description[?]:

We propose withdrawing from this treaty on two very good grounds:

(i) This treaty explicitly encourages the development of WMD by nations capable of doing so, making Terra a more dangerous place.

(ii) We are currently the only signatory to this Treaty. As well as making the Treaty pointless, what message does this send out about Beitenyu?

Melanie Koffenbaum (Minister of Foreign Affairs & Leader of the JMU)
