Bill: Important National Cultural Sites Protection Act: Historia est magistra vitae
Details

Status[?]: passed

Voting deadline: October 2578
Description[?]:
RDF feels that important national historic and cultural monuments should be protected by law and by the Commonwealth government. Those important cultural sites, if under protection of private organisations, can easily be used for making profit- i.e. removed. There are many confirmed cases in Rutania for this and RDF is very concerned because of this. Many large companies and corporations can pay a large amount of money to some private organization and then removed and bulldozed. Also, large companies can force local governments to remove those cultural sites. There is also a large number of sites that require protection because of its historical importance, but they are not protected because of lack of money and/or will. Therefore, RDF sees as a national priority to put important sites under federal protection. The nation which doesn't respect its history cannot have a bright future because it cannot learn from history. And you know the dicta: Historia est magistra vitae. |
