Bill: Telamon Gun Control Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Humanic Republicanist Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 2578

Description[?]:

Currently, any citizen can purchase a gun whenever they want and carry them in concealment. This is a major danger to the publics safety and well being. Individuals wanting to purchase and carry firearms should have to register for a firearms license given by the government. Failure to have said license will warrant anything from a 250 Telamon Pounds to a ten year sentence in prison, depending upon the type of weapon (I.E. A small handgun might result in a fine and the removal of the weapon, while a heavy weapon could end some one up in prison.).

This bill will be sent for vote in three months time.
