| Message | This budget keeps in tact nearly all of the gains we've made in H&SS spending and E&C spending while eliminating most of the deficit. Whatever shortfall remains will be made up for in a few years of regular economic growth. Given that we've radically increased taxes and spending recently, we believe this approach at this time is more fiscally sound than another tax increase. --WB |
