MessageYes and research and generation of renewable energies should be a national effort not a regional effort.

MessageSorry about the '1' as the description. I don't think i can argue this with you guys. The locals know what they need better than the beaurocrats. Fossil fuels are OK. We're not that bad off. I don't think that TERRA is in a global warming phase. There's no evidence of it. For god's sake, Terra could be the shape of a flatened snow flake and have an atmosphere composed of mainly Sulfur dioxide and (besides for common sense), we would never know

MessagePollution is pollution and we don't want it. Also, we can assume the voters are reptilians and sea creatures, but I'm guessing their humans. This is just one of the many assumptions I make about the game including that Terra is much like Earth and RL in that it has the same problems and works mostly the same way. After all they're going for realism right?

MessageYeah, that was a stupid point of mine.

Anyways, i don't think that there is much of an environmental problem. But even though this bill won't pass, i'll be able to please my supporters and improve my seat percentage in the next election. I guess it'll all work out for me. Unfortunatly for the PLP, their supporters favor ecological scepticism and regional powers far more than mine do. Check the polls for yourself.

MessageWe normally assume that what is true on Earth is also true on Terra, as far as technology, environmental conditions, etc.. But even if Terra is not in a global warming phase, we would prefer not to start one.

We may seem inconsistent, with our support for ending regulations that require all cars to be environmentally friendly, but our concern there is that we want people to be able to drive where they want, and if environmentally friendly cars were cost competitive, we would see many more of them on Earth. And we still support using tax incentives to encourage people to use them.

You want to get rid of all subsidies to cut fossil fuel emissions, and that we cannot support.

Random fact: Real life-life nationalities, cultures or ethnicities should not be referenced in Particracy (eg. "German").

Random quote: "In Germany they first came for the Communists and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew. Then they came for the trade unionists and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn't speak up because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me--and by that time no one was left to speak up." - Pastor Martin Niemoller
