Bill: Nationalization of Railways
Details
Submitted by[?]: Soviet Party (Trotskyist)
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 2579
Description[?]:
We propose to partially nationalize railways in Malivia. By nationalizing certain railway lines, we can increase the quality of service for Malivians that ride the rails and ensure that the railways are available for government use when national security requires it. Some railway lines would be nationalized, but not all, because not all lines need to be nationalized. For each line nationalized, the government would pay compensation to the previous owner. The nationalized railway would be called "Malivia National Railways", and would be administered by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport. |
