A few notes;
-I was thinking of Belgium with the various groups part.
-Tenno translates to 'Heavenly Sovereign', so that's why the English term has the word Heavenly in it.

I'm leaving this in debate for awhile to get ideas on it, improvements and such.

We are offended that the Normands have been lumped together with the French.

MessageWe assert, as we always have, that there is no divine right to rule, and that rulers must always be chosen by the people in a secular situation. This is nothing more than a state-imposed religion, and is abhorrent to every one of our members. We want to encourage growth in Sekowo, not chase it away!

MessageOOC:
Near descendants being those born from the royal families within a generation, as opposed to someone who may have had a single ancestor form one of the families decades ago.

IC:
The monarch would not be a ruler, the powers would be vested in the cabinet, the monarch is simply meant to be a unifying force.

Further more religion plays no role in this, the ISP is an Atheistic party, and thusly is highly against religion in the first place and would not institute any kind of state religion.

The term 'Heavenly' is meant in a Secular manner and is simply the result of translation.

MessageStill, we are utterly opposed to any sort of deification, secular or religious, of any man, woman, or child. We put forth that leaders must always be chosen democratically, and we shall never accept any sort of Monarchy.

MessageThe term heavenly implies religion most offensively, and makes this whole distasteful business of monarchy even that much more. We oppose entirely. While you may claim this post to be a figurehead, all such figures should be chosen democratically and often.

MessageOk, how about this, instead of 'His/Her Heavenly Majesty' how about 'His/Her Celestial Majesty', it's more attuned to science that way, and is definitely much more unique then 'Heavenly'.

Well the only real power I can think of that any constitutional monarch has is vetoing bills, and since the games mechancics never had that built into them, it would be difficult to do.

You would have the 'candidates' from the various families, and the legislature (or population) would vote for one of them.
