In order for the police to operate as a cohesive unit within the nation, whilst reducing the current bureaucratic waste required to operate and communicate between local and national divisions within the current service, the police will be returned to a single national operation. Police stations will still be placed locally and "beat" officers still operate locally, however there will be a single national computer network as well as single force operations, training, and bureaucracy. Funding will be provided via the Ministry of Internal Affairs. |
