Bill: Pet and Public Health Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Populist Liberal Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: December 2114
Description[?]:
This simply requires dog and cat licenses for the purpose of making sure the animals have had their shots and everything. Do we want to be walking the streets alongside rabid dogs? This simply allows local governments to issue dog and cat licenses, and as a condition of pet ownership require rabies shots and other basic shots needed for public safety. |

Proposal[?] to change The government's policy regarding the ownership of domestic animals as pets.
Old value:: There are no laws regarding domestic animal ownership.
Current: There are no laws regarding domestic animal ownership.
Proposed: People must register domestic animals with the local government.

Message | I tried to pass this law myself, but somehow I failed to come to the logical conclusion you described above and thus could not convince anyone else of my proposal. I accept. |

Message | hmmm. I guess i support. I don't like these restrictions though. Oh, here's my argument. Registering does not necessarilty mean getting shots. It just means we know who has what and which kinds of pets. So i'm not sure. |

Message | Can't we just assume that if local governments know someone owns a dog they would thus be able to require them to have rabies shots and the like? |
