In order to repair the illegal modification to the existing legal framework for employee/employer relations introduced in the Employees Charter: Basic Rights at Work, introduced August 2055, the government will modify the recently changed legal position for firing striking workers back to its legal position. Employers and employees will continue to receive the legal protections enshrined in those laws with no further changes to either legislation. Employers who fire employees without reasonable cause will be liable to damages in-line with the Employees Charter. Employees who go on strike without reasonable cause will not be protected by the Employees Charter and are liable for any actions the Employer may take against them. |
