Message | Absolutely not! As we already said before, we see it as a murder of innocent, yet unborn, human being. |

Message | We don't see it as murder, but we don't know if we can be convinced into supporting at this moment in time. |

Message | We do understand the views of the Commonwealth Party and the RDF, but such restrictive abortion laws only result in backstreet abortions. The mistake is to believe that because something is illegal or severely restricted it therefore ceases. Rather, it continues but in a more dangerous fashion. At least if abortions are legal for a longer period of time then it will be possible to avoid these sorts of scenes, and focus on working towards the significant reduction in abortions through progressive economic and social policies. Would the Liberal Party be prepared to vote for a more moderate bill but which would nevertheless extend the period of abortion? For example, a two trimesters bill? |

Message | It's not back street abortions that are problems, they will be performed nevertheless, but here is the thing of respecting the right to live of an unborn child. RDF will never support such immoral decisions. |

Message | We have altered the Bill to reflect a more moderate change from current legislation, and hopefully this will be more acceptable to more parties. With regards to the RDF, i'm pretty sure many of the women suffering back street abortions would see them as a significant problem... |

Message | Well, if a woman cannot decide in first three months that she wants to abort, what then? So, according to your proposal, a woman should be pregnant 6 months (or even 9 months) and then realize: hey, I don't want to have that child. Isn't that absurd? And yet again, there is a right to life of that unborn child who cannot fight for himself. A child is not a "choice", he or she is a human being. EVen considered suffering of those little creatures inside the mother's uterus when she's having an abortion? Yes, but you cannot hear them cry; and unborn children do not vote...are that reasons that should let us allow an abortion, which is nothing else as pure murder? Majority of our party members are against abortion; but RDF in its public policy agrees to current law, although we promote non- abortion policy. But think of that what we wrote- abortion is just wrong, and allowing it in second trimester can do nothing good. |

Message | Agreed, its the decision of the mother |

Message | If you dont want a baby, then use protection...government has no say in a black market of abortion clinics, if a mother is willing to put herself in that much of danger to kill her child then let her do it at her own risk. Three months is long enough to determine whether you want a baby or not. People need to practice safer and responsible sex...tie ya tubes if you want no baby! |
