Bill: TiC Parliamentary Reform Bill

Details

Submitted by[?]: Tuesday Is Coming

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 2116

Description[?]:

Currently we allow 20 proposals per year. This is really far too many, as it defeats the purpose of a limit entirely.
The storage queue can only be emptied with effort, and the only real restriction is that only 12 can be introduced in one bill. We currently recieve almost 2 proposal credits per month, I propose that we move the number to 1.

MessageI have been proposing a whole lot of bills, and I have yet to run out. My queue has never been completely empty, and only came close once.

I say we either set the numbers so high that they are completely irrelevant, or else we set them to a level that will have an effect.

MessageI need to have a consensus on this, therefore debate is required.

Is the current setting too high? Too low?

I feel it is irrelevantly high, but do other parties even think that we need it? If we want a limit, let's have one. If not, then lets do away with it.

Random quote: First and second class seats on public transport shall be BANNED! We are all FIRST CLASS people, regardless of whether we are rich or poor and can afford or not afford to pay for a more expensive seat. From now on, all seats on trains, buses, trams, planes and so on shall be the SAME. We will all travel in the SAME way, TOGETHER. ~ Friedrich Pfeiffer General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party
