Bill: Defence Treaty Withdrawal due to unacceptability

Details

Submitted by[?]: Libertarian Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill proposes the withdrawal from a treaty. It will require half of the legislature to vote in favor[?]. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: July 2585

Description[?]:

Aloria has to withdraw from the treaty that supports chemical weapons use and torture of POWs (prisoners of war). There are definitely better (and more democratic) treaties out there.

wrong doings are here (part of the treaty):
The nation reserves the right to develop, construct and store biological and chemical weapons.
Prisoners of war are treated according to the national laws of the captor power.

MessageTo say the treaty permits torture of POWs is technically accurate at best.
