| It seems Aloria will have a state religion and if so let's make it a good one. We move that the Church of Fridgey become the Alorian State Religion. What in God's name is a Fridgey? ridgey is the Supreme Guardian of life. The original creator of the universe known only as "smwntndlxtnsly" (who presumably was Welsh) decided life was no longer worth living after hearing the music of McFly so decided to top himself leaving all of time and space to Fridgey. "But What In God's name is a Fridgey?" God's name is Fridge. He is worshipped as all powerful because He bribes us with delicious refrigerated bounty, sometimes in the form of Bountys but mostly because we're scared of Him. He's an all powerful superbeing constantly watching over us wherever we go, whatever we do. He knows when we're sleeping, He knows when we're awake, He knows when we've been masturbating, He knows if we've been bad or worse. He watches us in our most embarrasing moments. He has seen our fat naked flesh exposed. He sits up on high always silently judging us like animals powerless against His divine will. So behave or very bad things will happen. If you don't believe a word I'm saying join anyway. Better safe than sorry. THE 27 COMMANDMENTS Unlike Judaism/Christianity which has 10 incredibly vague laws and Buddhism with 4 depressing ones, Fridgey has 27 basic user-friendly laws (these may be updated as God thinks of new ones). 1. All Captive Fridges must be liberated from Suburbia 2. Remember, God does not accept bribes 3. God needs regular defrosting 4. Riches in this world are nothing, give them to us and we'll give you a promotion 5. If it's been on the ground for less then 5 seconds it's ok to eat. 6. Sexual intercourse is legal from 16 unless the partner is less than 2 years older when it is permissible from 14. Intercourse is allowed only if both partners are healthy and in control of themselves. The church encourages contraception and sex before marriage is ok with us. Marriage is not necessary for a long term commitment, but if you want a big party with cake, the ceremonies can be performed. Same sex marriage must also be given equal status with heterosexual marriage. 7. Stealing is bad (this includes elections) 8. Murder should be considered wrong if at all avoidable however certain cases murder is acceptable (eg Boggist Rock Concerts or in the presence of Conservative radio hosts because who can help themselves?) 9. Education is a basic birth right and must be equal for all 10. Property is theft 11. Save The Cheerleader, Save The World 12. Don't reuse bathwater that is truly disgusting! 13. Stephen Fry is the speaker of all knowledge and wisdom 13. It's ok to be gay (Bet we're the first religion to say that) 14. All nations of the world must ban nuclear weapons (I know it's unlikely but lets try) 15. Hats rock 16. Rap Music (making/listening to) is a one way ticket to hell 17. Smile, it's good for you. 18. Don't worry, be happy 19. Take 20 minutes a day for yourself just to chill out 20. Eat (at least) 5 portions of fruit and vegetables a day 21. RESPECT OTHER PEOPLE'S BELIEFS (Bet we're the first religion to say that too!) 22.Question all authority. 23. Sex must be consensual. Rape is considered to be a crime equal to that of murder. 24. From each according to his ability, to each according to his need. 25. Greed is evil. No person must take more than their share. 26. No person is above another. All are equal regardless of gender, sexual tendency, background or race and should be treated that way. There must be no class. 27. All people have the right to the best healthcare, housing, education and utilities available which should be provided by government for free or if the government will not the church must. |
