Message | We don't know it will be the same quality and "private gives more money back to the people?" Huh? They give money to the owner of the company, money that the government would instead spend on better libraries. |

Message | Yeah, I've never heard of a need to privatize the library system. Until some amazing revelation convinces me otherwise, I oppose. |

Message | yeah, we agree that privatization might lower quality, it will eliminate the government beaurocracyif it currently exists (my argument is based on the assumption that the library system is beaurocratic). Private companies are more quick to respond to complaints because they do not want to loose their contracts. The government beaurocracy is slow to respond to complaints and might acutally have lower quality services than a competative company. |

Message | Actually it has been my biased opinion that a company will adhere strictly to the letter of their contracts while spending as little funds as possible fulfilling them in order to maximize their profits and not worry about quality. |
