Message | We are tempted to support. However we are uneasy about racial segregation, but we do support the principle of all boys or all girls schools, perhaps parents should be free to choose to send their children to all white schools. |
Date | 14:08:08, May 31, 2008 CET | From | Free Liberals Party | To | Debating the Freedom and Respect Act (i.e. Segregation) |
Message | This bill is supported by the DLP. We make, however, a strong point that whilst the DLP strongly condemns the unreasonable and unjustifiable prejudice that is racism, we believe that government has no place in solving social problems. Whatever the government can do in the situation of racial segregation policies in private properties/businesses, social ostracism and economic boycott can do much better |
